MAN FACING POKIE THEFT CHARGES DATING BACK TO 2009

A 53-year-old Gold Coast man has been arrested in relation to alleged break and enter offences dating back to 2009.
Police believe the offender has been active in Queensland and New South Wales for several years, allegedly targeting poker machines in sports clubs and other commercial businesses.
Police this morning executed a search warrant at an address in Elanora on the Gold Coast, where the 53-year-old was arrested.
He’s facing charges relating to over 28 break and enter offences allegedly committed from North Brisbane to the Gold Coast between 2009 and 2017.
