FIRE BOMBER BEHIND BARS

Convicted firebomber Daniel Fing will spend at least the next 10 months behind bars, after being repeatedly caught driving while disqualified.
Magistrate Robert Stone handed down the sentence in Newcastle Local Court today, noting Fing has been caught driving without a licence 12 times in the past five years.
Fing will also serve simultaneous sentences for trying to smuggle a knife into Cessnock jail, and for possessing drugs.
In 2006, Fing was jailed for firebombing his ex-girlfriend’s lover’s car in a McDonalds car park at Belmont.
