STUDENTS GET HISTORY LESSON IN ELECTRICITY

Tamworth West Primary School students got a history lesson in electrical pop culture today.
This morning a group visited the Powerstation Museum on Peel Street as part of National History Week.
Volunteers were on-hand to show how domestic life was revolutionised through the invention of electronics like radios, televisions and fans.
“Do you reckon your mother would let you use that today? No. Because it’s plugged into 240 volts and that would be very dangerous.”
