A 48-year-old man is in a critical condition, after his motorbike collided with a car on the Oxley Highway outside Wauchope this morning.
It happened on the intersection of King Creek Road – a notorious blackspot.
“It appears that this four wheel drive stopped at the intersection here, then turned right onto the highway and didn’t see the motorcycle traveling west,” Highway Patrol’s Senior Constable Grant Christensen said.
The motorcyclist was rushed to Port Macquarie Base Hospital with head injuries, while the woman driving the car was uninjured.
