Australian University Sport’s national board now has an Armidale voice on it.
Director of UNE Life Dave Schmude has been rewarded for his efforts, which includes attracting an NRL trial match in 2013, and hosting the Northern University Games in 2011.
He’s also overseen the expansion of SportUNE, including the establishment of a mountain bike track 18 months ago.
He’ll now assist with the growth of sporting programs in universities all around the country.
