A strong overnight offshore wind ironed out most city surf breaks for most of the day. There were a few small waves at the Cowry Hole but then a shift in the wind to the south, saw things looking a bit ugly by the afternoon.
There’s some motion in the ocean with another strong swell pulse expected.
