A teenage girl has come forward after being approached by a man in Merewether last week.
At 3:45pm last Tuesday a 13-year-old girl was walking along Scenic Drive in Merewether when a white four-door sedan pulled up beside her.
The male driver called her to the car.
The driver has been described as a caucasian man of medium build, with short, grey, receding hair and a white beard.
Police were informed of the incident last Friday after the girl told her father what had happened.
Investigations are ongoing and police are urging witnesses to contact Crime Stoppers.
