TWIN TASSIE DEVILS FOR AUSSIE REPTILE PARK

The Australian Reptile Park has welcomed twin Tasmanian devil joeys.

Koda and Kayah will be on public display to help raise species awareness for the Tasmanian devil at the park for the next six months, before becoming part of the Devil Ark breeding program.

Devil Ark is a not-for-profit organisation that is part of a national breeding program to save the species from extinction.

The Tasmanian devil is under threat from Devil Facial Tumour Disease and is currently classified as endangered.

The Devil Ark facility now holds 52 per cent of the mainland insurance population with 154 animals.
