STORM CLEANUP UNDERWAY AT LENNOX HEAD

A major storm has hit the Northern NSW suburb of Lennox Head this morning.
The storm hit the township of Lennox Head around 7.30am with a supercell breaking away from the front and crossing the coast as a tornado. An evacuation centre has been set up at the Sports and Recreation Club, Lennox Head, for residents requiring temporary accommodation.
There have been a number of persons injured and are being treated by NSW Ambulance personnel.
