A woman has been referred for a mental health assessment after allegedly running her de-facto partner over with a car.
The 46-year-old faced Inverell Local Court today, accused of deliberately driving at the man and hitting him, before putting the vehicle in reverse and accelerating towards him.
It’s alleged the incident occurred just after 2pm yesterday, while her 39 year old partner was walking down Campbell Lane at Inverell.
The man suffered cuts and abrasions to his hands and knees.
