Some of Port Macquarie’s best sailors took to the water today to compete in the sixth race of the spring series.
Conditions were favourable with mostly sunny skies, south easterly winds and a run-in tide.
Four boats took to the water, with Frank O’Rourke on the lone catamaran taking out both the yardstick and handicap points.
First home in the monohull division was Paul Roberson and Martina Holt.
With young skipper Elsa Gandy with her new to sailing buddy Caitlin also giving it their best.
The championships will be held next Sunday at 2pm.
