Dozens of police and the POLAIR chopper have captured a man following a crime spree across the Hunter this morning.
The suspects been arrested after allegedly threatening staff at the Telarah IGA within a knife, demanding cash and cigarettes around 9am.
It’s believed the same man then held up The Junction Village Pharmacy a short time later.
The spree ended when the man was surrounded by police and arrested at the Heatherbrae Shell at 11am.
