A young girl is recovering in hospital after a nasty fall from a horse in the Upper Hunter.
The 9-year-old was riding a horse at East Gresford Showground when she fell off.
She was treated at the scene by paramedics for leg and pelvic injures, before being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
