Police have released a CCTV image as part of their investigation into the armed robbery of a fast food store in a Newcastle suburb earlier this week.
The man, armed with a knife, entered the Mayfield Road store in Mayfield just after 11:30pm on Tuesday.
He threatened staff and demanded money, before fleeing along Corona Street with a sum of cash.
There were no reports of physical injury during the robbery.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, large build and short, light brown hair.
He was wearing a black long sleeve jumper, grey tracksuit pants, no shoes and a red shirt/bandana around his neck and face.
