A commercial fisherman is expected to be charged, after he was allegedly caught illegally crab trapping in the Belmore River near Gladstone.
It follows a covert surveillance operation by Fisheries officers three weeks ago.
The mud crabs were released back into the water, along with a Long Necked Turtle that was entangled in one of the traps.
Investigations are continuing.
