WYONG VEHICLE SEARCH ALLEGEDLY TURNS UP DRUGS, WEAPONS

Illicit drugs, housebreaking implements, and a knife have allegedly been discovered during a vehicle search on the Central Coast.
The Ford Focus sedan was stopped by police in the car park of Wyong Railway Station shortly after 2am on Sunday.
Fraudulent cheques and mobile phones were also allegedly discovered along with the drugs – believed to be ice and cannabis – and other items.
The 34-year-old male driver was charged with driving while suspended.
The passenger, a 29-year-old woman, was charged with a range of offences, including supplying a prohibited drug, stealing, and good in custody.
