MAN ALLEGEDLY RETURNS HIGH RANGE DUI TWICE IN ONE DAY

A man will face court after being stopped by police for alleged high range drink driving twice in one day.
Police claim the 62-year-old man returned a positive breath test just before 2pm yesterday, when he was stopped on Myall Avenue in Tea Gardens.
He was taken to Tea Gardens Police Station where he allegedly returned a breath analysis reading of 0.259
His licence was suspended and he was issued a court attendance notice for high-range PCA.
Then at around 6:30pm, the 62-year-old man was stopped on Ibis Avenue in Hawks Nest, for another roadside breath test.
He allegedly returned a positive result of 0.252 and was again taken to Tea Gardens Police Station, where he was issued another court attendance notice for high-range PCA, and driving while suspended.
He is due to appear before Raymond Terrace Local Court on Monday 18 September.
