STUDENTS SPREAD CHRISTMAS SPIRIT

Oxley High School students have brought some extra Christmas cheer to those who are less fortunate by raising funds to buy presents for the Salvation Army and Uniting Church.
This morning toys, books and food were handed over so they could be distributed before the big day.
“We raised over $1,300, which we went and spent and bought presents and food items for the Salvation Army to give to families in need.”
The school has been teaming up with the Salvation Army for the past 12 years.
“Both organisations will pack up hampers and distribute them around locally, it all stays local.”
