As schoolies on the Gold Coast enters its final night, police remain positive about the overall public behaviour during the last week.
10 schoolies – seven male and three female – were arrested on 13 charges in the Surfers Paradise CBD overnight, with most of the charges relating to public nuisance and drug possession offences.
Three schoolies were issued with liquor infringement notices.
10 non-schoolies were arrested on 12 charges, also mainly for public nuisance and drug related offences.
