Port Macquarie Council has partnered with the Little Blue Dinosaur Foundation in a bid to keep children safe on roads this holiday season.
More than 200 bright and colourful road safety signs have been installed along the coast from Town Beach to North Haven, reminding drivers to be alert.
“Everybody keep an extra eye out for our wonderful children and make sure we dont have any disastrous accidents during this holiday time. Slow down kids around” – Lisa Intemann, Port Macquarie Deputy Mayor.
The foundation started following the death of a four-year-old boy while on holiday on the Central Coast in 2014.
