Tuggerawong’s Ian Rayson has taken second place in the 50 kilometre event at the Australian Race Walking Titles in Melbourne.
Rayson finished the course in 3 hours 59 minutes, just behind Commonwealth Games athlete Luke Adams.
The Central Coast local is now focusing on the national 20 kilometre championships in Hobart in February.
He hopes to improve on his result in last years event, where he finished fourth.
