CHARGES LAID OVER CANNABIS CROP AT COMMISSIONERS CREEK
A cannabis crop with an estimated street value of $700,000 has been discovered on the Far North Coast.
Police allegedly located the 272 cannabis plants at a home in Commissioners Creek, shortly before 6pm last Saturday.
As a result of investigations, a 19-year-old man was arrested yesterday and charged with cultivation of a prohibited plant for commercial purpose, and taking part in the supply of cannabis.
He will next appear in court later this month.
