COFFS TEENAGER SELECTED FOR NSW RUGBY LEAGUE KOORI TEAM

A Coffs Harbour teenager is well on his way to achieving his dream of becoming a professional footballer.
At 15, Troy Ducket has been selected for the New South Wales Under-16 Rugby League Koori Team.
Troy was chosen from more than 50 young men at the Talented Aboriginal Athlete Pathway Camp last week.
“Pretty excited a bit nervous but pretty happy to representing my culture and New South Wales.”
The team will take on the Queensland Murri Under-16s in February.
“It’s kind of like State of Origin – hope we beat Queensland, it’ll be good to beat them.”
