Riders from the Tamworth Tent Pegging Club will re-brand themselves as the Australian representative side tomorrow.
It comes as the International Tent Pegging World Cup Qualifier gets underway at Paceway Tamworth this week.
It’s the first time the national team has come from one club, while Tamworth will be the first city in the southern hemisphere to host the event.
Riders from India, Iraq, Pakistan, Bahrain and the UAE have touched down in the north west, with their sights set on securing a spot in next year’s World Cup in Russia.
