CALLAGHAN’S FLYING START AT JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPS

It was a great day in the water for Central Coast surfers at the World Junior Championships in Kiama.

Avoca’s Sandon Whittaker got off to a strong start, finding points despite the difficult conditions.

Meanwhile Macy Callaghan took a commanding lead, with the best heat combination score of the day – out of both the men’s and women’s.

The defending champion finishing up with an impressive 17.50.
