A man will front court next month after allegedly indecently assaulting a three year old girl in the Hunter during the 1960’s.
Newcastle City detectives launched an investigation after they received a referral from the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.
The 69 year old was arrested at Maitland Police Station yesterday.
He’s been charged with three counts of assaulting a female and committing an act of indecency on a person under 16 years old.
