SAFETY UPGRADES FOR DEADLY DOYALSON STRETCH

Safety works are set to begin next week on a dangerous stretch of the Pacific Highway at Doyalson North.
The state government is committing more than $160,000 for upgrades just north of Ruttleys Road, where three accidents have occurred in the last five years, one fatal.
A 40 kilometre an hour speed limit will be in place from Monday, as crews begin installing guardrails.
