Glen Innes rugby player Alex Newsome continues to push his case for a starting spot in the New South Wales Waratahs line-up for game one of the Super Rugby season.
While experiencing mixed results on the opening day of the Brisbane Global Rugby 10s, the Waratahs recruit has been a revelation for his new team, following the demise of the Western Force.
His 10s performance comes on the back his two try effort last weekend, in the Waratahs trial match against the Highlanders.
