A NEW EQUAL ACCESS PLAYGROUND IS ON IT’S WAY FOR TAREE

A new equal access playground in Taree’s Fotheringham Park is destined to help people both with and without disabilities playing together.
As part of the New South Wales Government’s Stronger Country Community Fund, almost $240,000 will go towards building the new play space.
State MP Stephen Bromhead says it’ll be a special place where everyone is included.
“As society has moved on we want to see people with ability and people with disability working side by side, enjoying each others company side by side, in the school side by side we want to accentuate the ability in people and not the dis in people,” says Bromhead.
