The local region was largely cloud affected with showers mostly confined to the coast while the swell will begin to ease along with the strong SE winds.
The wet weather will continue to contract north into QLD with only a few isolated showers to fall on the northern NSW and SE QLD coasts.
Cyclone Gita is now beginning to make its way towards NZ as ex Cyclone Kelvin moves towards the Nullabor.
Things will dry back out inland.
