DRIVER CHARGED OVER CARPARK RAMPAGE

A man’s been charged after running into pedestrians and numerous cars at Tuggerah on the Central Coast.

Late yesterday a car was reversed at speed in a shopping centre carpark striking two teenage girls and a 41-year-old woman. The 18-year-old suffered pelvic injuries.

It’s alleged the driver then attempted to leave the carpark but then struck two cars, setting off a chain of events that led to two other cars being damaged.

A 51-year-old man allegedly failed a breath test at the scene and is facing a raft of charges including driving while disqualified and failure to stop and render assistance.
