Stage one of the Manning Base Hospital redevelopment is nearing completion.
A multi deck carpark is now finalised…with chemotherapy, renal dialysis and oncology facilities in the works.
“When you look at oncology this is something like 3 or 4 times the size of the existing facility in the hospital so there’s so much more room not only for the patients, but for the staff for the specialists the auxillary the medical people this is something very very special,” says Stephen Bromhead.
It’s expected the new and approved $20-million section will be in use by November.
