WANTED MAN ARRESTED AFTER COFFS HARBOUR POLICE PURSUIT
An unlicensed driver has been arrested after a dramatic police pursuit at Coffs Harbour.
Police attempted to stop a Holden Commodore around 4pm on Saturday, after it was detected travelling 136km/h in a 60km/h zone.
As the pursuit approached Vernon Street, police say the car narrowly missed a truck before losing control and hitting a stationary vehicle.
The driver, a 27-year-old man, wanted for outstanding warrant, was arrested at the scene.
He was charged with a string of offences including Skye’s Law, and refusal to a road side breath test.
