Some of Australia’s best wordsmiths are in the Hunter this weekend for the sixth Newcastle Writers Festival.
The marquee at Wheeler Place attracted an impressive audience this afternoon, for a panel discussion about creative responses to criminal injustice.
From poetry to investigative journalism, the three day program wraps up tomorrow, with 130 writers taking part.
