A 16-year-old boy has been arrested, after allegedly ramming a police car near Windale, at Lake Macquarie.
Police initiated a pursuit on South Street shortly after 1am this morning, after a Mazda 323 failed to stop for a random breath test.
It’s alleged as the pursuit neared the intersection of Wilsons Road and Warners Bay Road, the car failed to negotiate a corner and lost control.
As police attempted to arrest the teen, he allegedly drove into two police cars.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at a Children’s Court on Monday 30 April.
