BUSINESSES LEARN ABOUT CHINESE EXPORT OPPORTUNITIES

The Woolworths development on Peel Street is a sign of China’s growing interest in regional New South Wales and today small business owners in Tamworth had the chance to learn about export opportunities in Asia.
A forum run by New South Wales trade and investment gave local entrepreneurs advice on how to enter China’s business market.
“China’s actually Australia’s biggest export market, huge opportunities there, but also it can be a difficult market as well.”
Today’s event in Tamworth was the third of a state-wide tour.
More than 42 businesses were represented.
“We’ve actually had a very good engagement from Tamworth. And that I think represents the interest in China here and the interest in export opportunities that can benefit business in the region.”
