After a win in the Supreme Court preventing the removal of Newcastle’s heavy rail line, the Save Our Rail group says it’s now concerned about the future of Newcastle Station.
President Joan Dawson says the court case uncovered a document, which proposes Newcastle, Wickham and Civic stations be removed from the heritage register, if the truncation proceeds.
The group is concerned the report could pave the way for developers.
