To local league and Cessnock’s Kurt Warden is facing three weeks on the sideline after being charged for a dangerous tackle in the Goanna’s big loss to Maitland.
Meanwhile former NRL player Paul Carter is free to play against Kurri Kurri.
Carter was reported for a high shot on the Pickers’ Jarrod Smith early in the second half, but the judiciary found there wasn’t enough evidence to charge him.
