Three men have been charged as police continue to investigate a serious assault in Kempsey after a 23-year-old man was admitted to Kempsey Hospital with serious injuries in February.
It’s alleged three men, one armed with a baseball bat, assaulted the man.
A 24-year-old man was arrested in Goulburn and charged with assault, robbery and causing grievous bodily harm.
Two other 25-year-old men, one from Smithtown and the other from Wauchope, were also charged in relation to the assault.
All three will face Port Macquarie Local Court at a later date.
