KNIGHTS WIELD THE AXE FOR PANTHERS CLASH

Knights coach Nathan Brown has swung the axe after his side’s loss to the Rabbitohs.

He’s made four changes ahead of Friday’s clash with the Panthers – the biggest, Brock Lamb returning at halfback.

Josh King will start at prop, while Danny Levi and Luke Yates have been named on the bench – co-captain Jamie Buhrer is among those dropped.

The coach admits Newcastle’s effort against Souths was simply not good enough.
