Around 8000 people attended today’s inaugural Firearms Fair in Cessnock.
Security was tight, with vendors showing their wares inside.
Organisers say the event was about promoting the safe use of firearms in sport.
“We’ve got 3000 members in our club, and we thought it was time firearms were represented before the public, because guns don’t kill people, people kill people.”
