Boating enthusiasts in Port Macquarie will have the chance to upgrade their old life jackets on Saturday, when the Transport for New South Wales Old 4 New initiative comes to town.
New slimline life jackets, which are designed to be worn all day, will be showcased in a promotional van.
“Obviously it’s about encouraging people who are using our water to make sure that they do it safely.”
The van will be at Wesport Reserve from 3pm.
