He enjoyed a standout NBA season, now Ben Simmons is in the box seat to be rewarded for it, named as one of three finalists for the Rookie of the Year award.
There has been conjecture about his eligibility though, due to the fact he was drafted in 2016, before missing the entire season through injury.
Simmons led his Philadelphia 76ers to the Eastern Conference semi-finals.
