A large amount of cloud is streaming in from the west towards South Australia and into Victoria and New South Wales, keeping temperatures to a minimum.
The large cloud band is producing rain but totals will be small, with the rain to move in across the Greater Hunter and North West tonight, taking most of Saturday to clear.
In its place will be a southerly change, so coastal communities can expect showers to move back in.
It will be overcast and cold, with light rain settling in at times.
