MAN CHARGED AFTER ALLEGEDLY THREATENING PASSENGERS ON TRAIN

A 32-year-old man has been charged, after allegedly threatening passengers on a train south of Woy Woy yesterday.

Around 9:50am, the man boarded a northbound train from Hornsby.

He then allegedly made numerous threats, causing distress to some passengers.

He was arrested a short distance from Woy Woy station and charged with giving false information and interfering with the comfort or safety of others.

He was refused bail and will appear at Gosford Local Court later today.
