Today marks 20 years since the first Reserve Forces Day, and in Newcastle, reservists marked the occasion with a march and a special service in Civic Park.
This year’s event focused on the centenary of the Battle of Ameins which was the start of the 100 day offensive that lead to the end of World War I.
