MAN RECOVERING AFTER HOME INVASION AT GLEN INNES
A man remains in hospital, after a home invasion in the state’s Northern Tablelands last week.
Between 11.30pm on Friday July 6, and 12.30am on Saturday July 7, two men armed with a knife and baseball bat entered a home on Railway Street, Glen Innes and assaulted the resident.
The sole occupant, a 56-year-old man, was knocked unconscious and suffered injuries to his head and face.
He’s in John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
At this time, police don’t believe this incident is linked to any other recent matters.
