PILOT ACADEMY: QANTAS REPS TO TOUCHDOWN THIS THURSDAY

Tamworth will host a group of Qantas representatives this Thursday, as part of the city’s ongoing bid to house the airline’s pilot training academy.

Tamworth made the shortlist last month, along with eight other regional cities.

The academy is expected to open its doors next year, with an initial intake of up to 100 pilots-in-training.
