ABORIGINAL TOURIST DESTINATIONS DRAW LARGE CROWDS ACROSS NSW

New South Wales has overtaken Queensland as the most popular state for international travellers to visit Aboriginal tourist destinations.
The state’s Tourism Minister, Adam Marshall, says it’s fitting the figures were released during NAIDOC week.
“We’re celebrating our Aboriginal culture, language, music right throughout the nation. We are home in New South Wales to the largest Aboriginal population, anywhere in the country.”
More than 332,000 international visitors took part in an Aboriginal cultural experience cross the state in the year to March 2017, spending an estimated $1.3-billion.
