Glen Innes’ Alex Newsome and Tamworth’s Paddy Ryan are just one game shy of reaching the 20-18 Super Rugby grand final.
The duo will line-up for the New South Wales Waratahs later tonight in South Africa, where they’ll take on the mighty Lions for a spot in the decider.
Newsome has retained his spot on the wing for the Tahs, having been promoted to the starting 15 for their quarter-final match last week.
Ryan will come off the bench.
